ooo, stunning. Very professional look with the outfit and the background grabbs my curiosity. then its just the necktie noose. ahhh all the symbolism and meanings... my mind is spasming!

just for thought:
the jacket could have been a little lighter to see texture. and a chest pocket woulda been nice... it looks too black.
and the hair coulda been up more to give it that extra pro look. hahaha but these are VERY picky things.

i know what you mean about the jacket. i know it's dark, but i kind of like that because the folds and the form is kind of subtle... i didn't really have a choice of the kind of jacket. lol. it's my dad's. i put all of this stuff together in about an hour. lol. a pocket with a little white hanky would have been really cool... lol, but for now, this shall do. and my hair... well, my hair is just... like that. haha. i could have slicked it back or something but it's the way i wear it. lol. i tried to keep a little bit of my every day self in it, tho i'm sure nice hair would have looked cool as well. i should redo this shoot where i look totally pro. like, crisp white shirt and collar. the pocket with the matching white hanky. nice hair. lol. there's a herb ritts picture of michelle pfeiffer dressed up like a man in a suit with her hair slicked back. it's totally badass. it kinda reminds me of that. i think i'll do a shoot like that of myself for kicks someday... here's a link to that shot [link] anyway, the pic is cool. check it out. thanks for the comment!

I kind of like the messy bits... I think it adds to the metaphor, but I understand the idea of everything being crisp and professional, too. Well done! I bet the 35 mm shots look amazing as well.

thanks! the lighting was really... primitive. haha. so the 35mm ones, the clock didn't come out in the background and my bottom hand doesn't really show up. bleh. it was a self portrait tho, so it was kinda hard. oh well. i'd like to reshoot it some time. oh, and as always, they scratched the negs...
